Classes - Workshops

The Workshop Registration form opens in May 2025.

Workshops are only open to registered Costume College students.  You must pay your Costume College registration fees prior to registering for any workshops.

Workshops are filled on a first-come-first-served basis. The link to the Workshop Registration form is available to all registered Costume College Students in May, by going to costumersguild.org and logging into your CGW account profile. 

Wait! What? First Come First Served? What if all the good classes are gone!?!?

One man’s junk is another man’s treasure! There is no such thing as a “good” or a “bad” class. Many of the lectures are just as fascinating and worthwhile as the workshops. There are classes that are more popular than others, both lecture and workshop. The only gotcha with workshops is that they do fill up quickly. Even if you don’t get any workshops , there are plenty of amazing lectures that can easily educate and entertain you the entire Costume College. A workshop is not necessarily “better” than a lecture -- it's just different. 

For a handful of Workshops, there is more flexibility in registration and some slots may be available for on-site workshop registration. More details on those workshops will be made available in the week prior to Costume College.
