“HOW FAR WE’VE COME”

This year’s costume exhibit is all about the paths we take in our costuming, and how each path led to the genre you chose. The Exhibit will be separated into each of those final destinations. It will follow the main Costume College theme of “A Costumers Journey. The Exhibit will be divided into the different genres of costuming: cosplay, historic, scifi, fantasy, Lolita, goth, steampunk or anime.

OUR SPOTLIGHT WILL BE ON A “FABRIC PETTING ZOO”. Please join us there for a special presentation of a “Fabric Petting Zoo”. Teacher Crystal Taggart will be in Exhibits at specified hours with her display and to answer questions on your own fabric samples, which will be open all weekend for you to pet and enjoy. If you’ve ever wondered what different fabrics look and feel like, here’s your chance to educate yourself.
