Bonus Track

We’re excited to announce that the 2026 Costume College Bonus Track is “Upcycling and Textile Transformations.” 

This year’s bonus track celebrates creativity on any budget — where imagination matters more than money. We are seeking classes on topics from dyeing, block printing and appliqué to bedazzling, stain removal, fabric piecing, and ethical sourcing, to help you turn the overlooked into the extraordinary. 

Come together to learn from each other how to rethink, reuse, and reimagine your materials — because skill and creativity never go out of style.

What is the bonus track?

The Bonus Track classes are intended to allow students to learn techniques and create projects they will be able to wear and display the following year, in keeping with the Possible Future Theme for the following year. These classes follow the same format as other classes but are focused around a core theme. We generally devote around 10% of the classes to the Bonus Track, so if you are completely uninterested, there are still plenty of other classes to take on a large variety of costuming topics.
