Beth Grover - One of our 2024 Guest TeachersBeth Grover

Beth Grover has worked in the apparel industry as a fit technician/patternmaker for major brands such as Lucky Brand Jeans and Quiksilver, but loves creating historical costumes most of all. She has a B.A. in History and an A.A. in Fashion Design, and has studied and recreated vintage clothing since she was a teen. This background led her to the position of Star Collection Manager at Western Costume, where she oversaw the reorganization of thousands of historic movie costumes and implemented a database for their documentation. Throughout it all, she studied antique clothing and period drafting and sewing manuals, and uses this knowledge to create her own historical costumes. In addition to working in the apparel industry and with costume archives, she is also a champion swing dancer and instructor. Her personal blog is www.VisforVintage.com.
